How pre-orders, petitions, refunds and delivery work. If the answer is not here, write to us — a person reads that address.
You pay the full price now for a plush that has not been manufactured yet. It is made only if enough people do the same before the campaign closes — that number is the unit floor, usually 300, and it is printed on every product page along with how close it is. If the floor is not reached, nothing is manufactured and everyone is refunded in full.
A petition asks for a small refundable pledge instead of the full price. If enough people pledge, the plush gets made and a full campaign opens — you are told before anything further is charged. If it falls short, your pledge is refunded and nothing is made. Petitions exist so a smaller studio can find out whether the demand is real without asking its players for the full amount up front.
Yes, while the campaign is still open — write to us and we will cancel and refund it. After it closes the run is being manufactured against the exact number ordered, so a cancellation is no longer something we can absorb. Your statutory rights are set out in the terms of sale.
At checkout, in full, by Shopify. We never see or hold your payment details — this site does not have a checkout form on it, and paying takes you to Shopify’s own.
Nothing is manufactured and every backer is refunded in full, to the original payment method. There is no partial run and no substitute product. The campaign page stays up afterwards saying exactly that.
We issue it as soon as a campaign closes below its floor. How long it then takes to appear is your bank’s and card scheme’s timing rather than ours, and it is usually a few working days.
Every product page carries a ship window, and it is the real one — manufacturing a plush from scratch takes months, and the window accounts for sampling, production and freight. If it slips, we email everyone who ordered and say why.
Rates and destinations are shown at checkout, before you pay. Duties and import taxes outside the shipping destination’s own tax area may be charged on delivery by your local customs authority.
Your confirmation email from Shopify links to a live status page for that order, and it is updated with a tracking number when the parcel is handed over. That link is the authoritative source — see the order tracking page for what to do if you have lost it.
